Diamante Eléctrico receives TWO Latin Grammy Wins!!!

Receives TWO Latin Grammy Wins for BEST ROCK ALBUM with “La Gran Oscilación” recorded and mixed by Joshua V. Smith (Jack White, Beck, The Dead Weather, Neil Young) and BEST ROCK SONG with “Déjala Rodar” written by Juan Galeano (Lead singer and bass player of Diamante Eléctrico).

The band announced two dates in Mexico after their recent sold-out show at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in their native city of Bogotá, Colombia.

The 2015 and 2017 Latin Grammy Award-winning rock band from Colombia, released “La Gran Oscilación”, a strong follow up to their previous album ‘B’.

This third studio release, totally analog, was recorded in Bogotá with the help of Third Man Records engineer and analog wizard Joshua V. Smith, known for his work with Jack White, Beck, The Dead Weather and more.

“La Gran Oscilación” is a more experimental and conceptual take on their sound, bouncing in and out of time much like the band’s musical heroes Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and so on. It’s not what you’d call ‘easy’ but it adds a level of depth to the band’s sound, not heard on ‘B.’

“Déjala Rodar”, stands out a rockabilly and blues-inspired that, that boasts a 50’s inspired brass section, showcasing the guitar.

Diamante Eléctrico had a whirlwind year, performing at world-renowned festivals such as Coachella and Eurockennes, as well as collaborating with longtime hero Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top for their new single “Días Raros”.

The band has broken barriers both in the Colombian and rock scenes in general with their unorthodox song structures, honest lyrics, and unrivaled energy, making it impossible not to move to their songs.
